Once in a while you get asked to make a cake that baffles you.  We looked at all sorts of sacks before settling on a packet of Hunky Dory Crisps.  We were asked to make a sack of spuds for Joe’s 60th birthday, an in-joke.  The cake is made from chocolate fudge and the potatoes and sack are fondant.  The grass is made from royal icing and the ‘muck’ is crumbled cake. 

The client said “Yeah, Niamh he absolutely loved it.  Had to beg him to let me cut it.  Everyone loved it, thanks again.”
